Ryco 24.7 V8 ute Championship
Round 4 Hampton Downs - 18/19 Sep 2020
We finally got in the last round of the 2020 Ryco 24-7 NZ V8 Ute Championship. Hampton Downs was the location and it was a first for us to be practicing in the rain on the Friday plus I was surprised how good the wet tyres were. A lot of fun too LOL.
Didn't get a scratch on the ute all weekend which was reflected in my somewhat mediocre individual results. However I'm pleased to be learning more with every race meeting.
And now I'm absolutely stoked to let ya's know our 811 V8 Ute finished 9th overall in the NZ Championship. Also 3rd n the chase for the BF Cup . Not a bad effort for a rookie among the 21 different drivers who have raced the championship this season.
