What a wicked day in our 811 Dodge Challenger SRT. Qualified 5th and bettered my personal fastest lap time to start the day. Six cars were separated by only 1 sec.
Came home 2nd in the first race and 2nd in the next race race by only 0.4 sec. (Still chasing that elusive win. By the end of the day our tyres were getting very tired and so was the driver, so only managed 5th in the 12 lap final.
Stoked for Casey as well who had a great day in the production at Ashburton speedway with a win (great stuff). Thanks heaps to all the officials and volunteers and a special high five to Jason for the awesome team/crew work for the weekend. Couldn’t do it without ya.
